In anticipation of what will be displayed from the Florida Boat Show exhibitors, let’s take a look back at the most spectacular yachts Moran has exhibited at FLIBS over the past few years.
Yacht Shows By Moran
2020 – M/Y LADY MAY
One of the most famous of Moran’s yacht sales is LADY MAY, a 151’ award-winning fully custom Feadship motor yacht. This refined yacht was one of the stars of the 2020 FLIBS show. Her chic interiors, clad with a neutral palette chosen by RWD, benefit from an abundance of light that flows from the omnipresent glass paneling. M/Y LADY MAY’s ingenious design and futuristic silver exterior by Dubois Naval Architects was applauded for its ability to enjoy fluid indoor-outdoor living in total privacy.
2019 – M/Y MADSUMMER
Featured amongst other naval masterpieces presented by Fort Lauderdale Boat Show exhibitors, MADSUMMER was one of the most opulent yachts on display. A superyacht of gigantic proportions – MADSUMMER boasts a length of 311” – this Lürssen build comes complete with a swimming pool, a large spa, and amenities ideal for water sports and diving. Her tasteful contemporary interiors, designed by Laura Sessa, combine comfort with elegant bursts of color, allowing guests to cruise around the globe in total luxury.
2018 – M/Y HOSPITALITY
With eight adaptable and warm staterooms that accommodate up to 18 guests, the Westport 164′ HOSPITALITY truly embodies her name. Her well-disposed social spaces allow for everyone to gather together whilst her private deck off the owner’s suite provides complete intimacy. Her impressive range and cruising speed – 20 knots, a rarity for a yacht this size – truly dazzled and outshone other Florida Boat Show exhibitors at the 2018 show.
2017 – M/Y SORCHA & M/Y BELLA
Originally launched in 2005, the 152’ SORCHA motor yacht still turned heads at the 2017 FLIBS, where she was represented by the Moran yacht sales department. Her structural integrity – built by Northern Marine – and an impressive transatlantic range of 4,000 nautical miles make SORCHA an extremely comfortable cruising vessel for up to 10 guests. SORCHA’s real tour de force is her lavish interiors, which feature all the codes of classical décor.
At the 2017 show, the Moran yacht sales department topped the list of the most impressive Fort Lauderdale Boat Show exhibitors with another showstopper: M/Y BELLA, a beautiful 152’ pedigree Feadship yacht. Refitted with elegant furnishings in 2014 that exude a Zen ambiance aboard, her appearance, flexible amenities, and powerful engines truly wowed audiences.
2016 – M/Y MADSUMMER & M/Y APRICITY
2016 was another great year for Fort Lauderdale Boat Show exhibitors. Moran represented Feadship’s 182′ MADSUMMER, an award-winning pedigree superyacht that perfectly incorporates the shipyard’s reputation for classic lines and timeless feel. Refit the year before FLIBS 2016, MADSUMMER was deemed one of the most family-friendly yachts on display at the show that year.
Another FLIBS 2016 superstar, 164’ MOONRAKER – now called APRICITY – is Mangusta’s first E Series yacht. A veritable powerhouse designed by Stefano Righini, MOONRAKER featured voluminous custom interiors crafted in contemporary fashion with the finest materials, including Aston Martin leather. Shortly after FLIBS 2016, the Moran yacht sales brokers handed her over to a new owner.
2015 – M/Y NORTHERN STAR
Another Lürssen megayacht on show on behalf of Moran, the sizable 248’ NORTHERN STAR did not go unnoticed. Built in 2009, NORTHERN STAR impressed everyone with its exploration capabilities that allow up to 12 guests to cruise even the most remote corners of the world. Those who had the chance to visit her witnessed her spacious Pauline Nunns interior and enigmatic blue exterior. NORTHERN LIGHT solidified Moran as an unmissable Fort Lauderdale Boat Show exhibitor.
