Tampa’s Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino is owned by an Indian tribe and is the largest casino in the state. It’s the closest you can get to Las Vegas without going to Las Vegas. Even if you’re not a gambler, it’s still worth paying it a visit because it’s also home to a bunch of vintage rock ‘n’ roll memorabilia and more concerts than you could ever hope to attend.
5. Take in some history
Not many visitors realize it, but Tampa is home to a whole heap of history. Tarpon Springs is particularly worth visiting because it feels like you’re taking in ancient Greece, thanks to the heritage established by the area’s Greek immigrants.
