At a primary night party at a Jacksonville Dave & Buster’s, state Republican Party head and state Sen. John Thrasher told The Florida Independent’s Virginia Chamlee that he will support whoever wins tonight’s Republican gubernatorial primary: “I’m going to wake up tomorrow morning and … embrace the winner, whoever he is.”
Thrasher had been criticized by the Scott campaign for appearing to take the side of McCollum in the primary.
