The Tampa Bay Rays aren’t the only pro baseball team in the area considering a move. Various media outlets are reporting the New York Yankees are negotiating a possible sale of the team’s minor league Tampa squad — which could mean a relocation to Orlando.

The Yankees’ Single-A minor league team plays at Steinbrenner Field in Tampa, where the major league team also plays its spring training games.

Yankees officials acknowledged they have spoken to investors about a sale of the minor league team, but it will not affect where the big league club plays its spring training, according to the St. Petersburg Times.

Reports on a possible sale first surfaced on a television station in Orlando, WFTV, and the St. Pete Times reported yesterday that a group of Orange County investors will be making an announcement on the matter today.

After two weeks, Rep. Campbell still up in arms over Randolph’s supposed ‘bullying’

According to Charisma Magazine, Campbell was joined by two-dozen supporters outside the Orlando offices of Randolph on Tuesday, demanding a public apology. He come to me and he took all the books on the table and he flung them at my face...with a lot of 'F' words, several times...and he said 'I swear! You could never be reelected! I swear! I'm going to get an opponent to replace you!'
