Carol Tobias, the president of National Right to Life, will be speaking at this year’s Conservative Political Action Conference on Friday, as part of a panel on “Advancing the Pro-Life Movement through Media.”

Tobias is a cast member of The Gift of Life, an anti-abortion film hosted by former presidential candidate Mike Huckabee. On Friday, Tobias will be joined by other members of the film to take part in a discussion panel titled “Advancing the Pro-Life Movement through Media.” According to a press release, Citizens United (the plaintiff in the landmark 2010 case that changed the rules for corporate campaign expenditures) is sponsoring the panel.

In an article published last month on the National Right to Life website, Tobias explained her group’s agenda for 2012. At the top of its to-do list is ending the federal health care reform law. According to Tobias, the law “will enshrine abortion and rationing of health care in our society for generations to come, if we don’t stop it.”

Calling President Obama a “pro-abortion, anti-life” president, Tobias wrote that she is happy Republican candidates — Newt Gingrich, Ron Paul, Mitt Romney and Rick Santorum — are all opposed to abortion.

Another top priority for Tobias’ group, according to her article, will be educating the American public about the pain that an unborn child feels during abortion.

National Right to Life held its annual conference in Florida last year, a three-day event in Jacksonville that included a presidential forum and several workshops.
