Florida Attorney General Bill McCollum was snubbed by Eric Holder, and he’s not letting it go.
McCollum criticized the attorney general in a letter Thursday, after Holder left him out of a Tuesday briefing on the federal investigation into BP:
Yesterday your office advised that you do not plan to personally meet with me and Florida officials. It is disturbing that Florida is not commanding the full attention of the federal government.
President Obama announced plans to visit Louisiana for a third time on Friday. Lest anyone forget, Florida packs the political and economic heft of the other three oil spill-afflicted states combined.
