New logo for Furla Collection 2020
Furla writes a new chapter in its history in the name of inclusiveness. Spring-summer 2020 collection of the historic Bolognese leather brand (unveiled in the evocative setting of Palazzo Isimbardi for Milan women’s fashion), is in fact an immersion in its heritage and a journey through pure and timeless inspirations where absolute protagonists, as part of the setting and as a new logo on the products of the made in Italy brand, are its arches.
“A symbol of openness, of inclusiveness. A door that introduces the new world of Furla and a new chapter in its long history”, the managing director Alberto Camerlengo.
“The arch recalls the famous arcades of Bologna and recalls the entrance of the Furla Foundation: in addition, the visual impact is very strong because this symbol is used for the first time in the closure of a bag or belt and in 92 years and to the recently modified logo, we have never had any distinctive element”.
Moreover, he said: “For us it is a test and a continuous growth with a view to sustainability, we try to never make impossible steps forward, but to renew ourselves by trying to remain tied to our roots”.
New collection, new exiting bags
Proposals for the season are characterized by clean graphic lines and incisive and, at the same time, ethereal colors, such as the classic black and white, talc, apricot and peach, cognac and burgundy, to which are added motifs floral patterns in pink, black and white in the Sixties style.
The must-haves of the season include the 1927, Pillow and Piper lines, revisited in colors and enriched by the contemporary arched closure. “Furla is innovation, curiosity, it is a continuous search to understand in advance the wishes of our customers and that is why we continue to test and try”, continued the CEO.
