Peruvian Amazon

Welcome to the jungle!

Think of hidden gold, lost cities, and ancient tribes. These are the kind of adventures that wait for you in the Amazon rain forest.

Covering more than half of Peru, the Amazon rain forest has everything you need for an exotic vacation including the Boiling River of the Amazon — the largest documented thermal river. But be warned, this is not a river you want to jump in.

There is also plenty of animal life to see including pink and gray river dolphins, colorful birds, monkeys, and our personal favorite, the elusive sloth.

Fanjingshan, China

Sure, everyone wants to visit Beijing or Shanghai, but why not wander off the beaten path to visit the sacred Buddhist site of Fanjingshan?

Recently becoming a UNESCO World Heritage site, this mountain was once home to 48 temples. These temples were first built in the 16th century, and are still considered a holy ground for Buddhists.

In addition to the temples, Fanjingshan also provides a very unique ecosystem with dense vegetation, clear running water, and over 800 different species of animals.

Just be sure to bring your rain jacket as the weather is often unpredictable.

Oman

Have you always wanted to experience Arabian nights? Then you should definitely hit up Oman.

While not a popular destination for most travelers, Oman is the perfect place for an adventure that avoids large tourist crowds. Oman offers an accommodating culture and a mysterious history.

Here you can take a 4×4 deep into the desert, hike over massive canyons to grande overlooks, and dip in hidden pools. And for the horse-lovers, imagine riding Arabian horses along the Hajar mountains. It just doesn’t get any more picturesque than that.

Galapagos Islands

Located about 600 miles off the coast of Ecuador in the Pacific Ocean, the Galapagos Islands are a bucket-list destination for many travelers.

These 19 islands offer friendly wildlife, such as sea lions and gigantic sea tortoises, and white sandy beaches that melt into blue waters.

Since each island is different, the best way to see the Galapagos Islands is on Galapagos Islands Cruises. This way you can have the comforts of a cruise ship or a yacht while exploring all the different stops and ports.
