Despite late allegations of voting law violations as well as controversy over her work with the Republican-bankrolled anti-Fair Districts group, Protect Your Vote, Rep. Corrine Brown, D-Jacksonville, has defeated her Republican challenger, Mike Yost.
Update:
In his concession speech, Yost thanked family and supporters, saying his 2010 campaign was not an end, but a beginning: “I’ve never been a quitter; I feel like we fought the good fight. I’m not ashamed of the job that we did. As they say, all good things must come to an end.” —Virginia Chamlee
