A service provider is an individual, business, or organization that provides funded services. NDIS registered providers are service providers who have been registered with the NDIS. They must meet safety and quality standards set by the government. Home Care Assistance is an NDIS registered service provider. Register providers can use your funding at a rate based on NDIS prices, or there may be a gap which means there is an additional expense beyond the funds received. Home Care Assistance charges for services according to the NDIS price guide. You will not be credited anything additional for our services.

Participants whose living arrangements are no longer appropriate for their disability-related needs. Participants with restricted mobility or disabilities cannot use their daily activities safely or can’t access facilities such as the walking, bathroom, kitchen, or toilet needs. Participants who require specialist care, such as an adult participant with complex behavior support needs or a home and living solution. Participants who cannot find suitable accommodation but have a good quality of life would benefit from alternative housing or additional support. Participants are currently in healthcare facilities and cannot return safely to their preadmission accommodation settings after being discharged. Participants living in unsuitable, temporary, or unsafe accommodation and the mainstream services/community supports cannot provide an alternative because of their disability-related needs. In cases where the participant cannot afford to house because of their disability, the NDIS might help cover the cost of accommodation.

Supports Funded By The NDIS Include:

Personalized Care

Participants can get help with their independence through the NDIS. Participant families and the NDIS can have a planning discussion about their homes and their living goals. The participant’s plan will outline the support the NDIS will provide as well as the services the participant will require through the housing system. Participants will still be able to find housing on the private market, either by renting or buying. Participants in the NDIS are responsible for their day-to-day living expenses, including rent, groceries, and utilities. The same applies to general household items like a bed, fridge, and cooking utensils. These costs may be covered by the NDIS in limited situations.
