Mike Huckabee’s upcoming fundraiser for an anti-abortion group that likens Planned Parenthood’s work to genocide, U.S. Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz, D-Pembroke Pines, blasts Huckabee for legitimizing such “divisive tactics.”

Florida resident and former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee will act as keynote speaker for the controversial anti-abortion group Heroic Media at a Feb. 15 dinner in Orlando. According to a press release, the funds raised will go toward “placing positive, life-affirming television commercials, billboards and Internet in Florida.”

The chairman of Restore America’s Voice issued a statement to media outlets yesterday following reports by Think Progress and The Florida Independent that highlighted the fact that the PAC’s “Repeal it Now” anti-health care reform campaign was being managed by Derek Oberholtzer of 949 Media Group, a scam artist made infamous for his “Apply 2 Save” foreclosure relief program that defrauded distressed homeowners nationwide.
