School districts heed warnings about school prayer law

Many Florida school districts are, so far, listening to warnings from civil rights groups that adopting policies allowing for prayer at any school event will land them in court.

Sun-Sentinel: Charter schools get $55 million for repairs, public schools $0

Florida’s almost 3,000 traditional public schools will get no state money for repairs this year, while 350 charter schools will receive $55 million for construction and repairs.
