State Sen. Eleanor Sobel, D-Hollywood, yesterday introduced eight amendments to one bill — all of them written to make a point about the anti-abortion stance that has been pervasive in the GOP-led Florida Legislature during this year’s session.

Lynn was among a handful of moderate Republicans who broke party lines during the session to voice their opposition to provisions aimed at limiting the right’s of women in the state.
In a debate over a bill that would require women seeking an abortion to view an ultrasound first, state Sen. Ronda Storms, R-Valrico, yesterday blasted abortion providers for ignoring fetuses’ “babyhood or humanhood.”
